Our guest this week is Chad Lavender, former UA grad that is the current Vice-Chairman & Co-head of Newmark’s Health & Alternative Assets group. Newmark is a full service commercial real estate firm owned by their parent company BCG Partners, Inc. Throughout his 11-year career, Chad has completed over $15 billion in RE transactions throughout the US. Prior to being with Newmark, he served as co-head of HFF’s national healthcare group, the RE firm acquired by JLL for $1.8 billion. In addition, Chad was previously an investment broker with ARA specializing in senior housing. Chad operates out of Dallas TX, which has been a hot post-graduation destination for UA graduates pursuing careers in commercial real estate. In short, Chad is an extremely seasoned yet young real estate professional that has an abundance of experience to share with us all this Wednesday.
